During Chinese New Year, A lot of Chinese love to buy lime tree/ Calamansi to decorate home which they believe this can bring great luck, auspicious and prosperity.
How do you handle the lime tree after Chinese New Year?
Some of us might just abandon it at home and they will buy a new lime tree during next Chinese New year.
We’ve adopted 2 lime trees before Chinese New Year as my neighbor just dumped it as they would like to get a NEW lime trees to celebrate Chinese New Year.
The trees looked miserable as it lack of care, lack of soil, lack of fertilizer, lack of LOVE……
We felt like it was a waste to dump the tree, What we did was to change the soil, to remove all stick which tied the trees, to put compost, watering regularly….
The result was amazing! A journey of a new LIFE……..
Plant needs our love and care, they can grow well. If the plant grow well, there is no need to buy a new plant to usher NEW YEAR. Even a small act, this can help to save resources.
We’ve also adopted another plant which being dumped at our neighbor hood, look at its transformation after we pay attention and give them a new home with love and care.
A plant also showing great sign of a new life after we give love and care.
Think about it, if we apply the same love and care to other beings, we are able to make a difference.
“There is a kind heart in each of us if inspired the love in us will be kindled.”
